One thing that i did not want, was to have the entire comic be a past tense narrative. Now that the background of Button the Slorg is set, we jump ahead to the present tense. The dialog in this issue is a parody of a scene from the movie "Thank you for Smoking"... odds are, if you didn't see the movie... you won't find this strip very funny.
