The Desert to Forever

This image was created exclusively in the GIMP. I extensively used the Render | Clouds filter for the sky, ground and as texture for the mountains.
The ground was reshaped with the IWarp filter to give it a little bumpyness. The stars in the sky are done with the supernova filter.
